Remembering our "Little Angel"

This time of year is filled with so many emotions for our family. Five years ago our sweet little angel Maddisyn was born, and our lives were forever changed. She lived for 7 days, and then returned to our Heavenly Father. She was not suppose to live through her first night of life, but we were blessed and got to have her for 7 days. This week we got to celebrate her 5th birthday. Then next week on her death date we get to celebrate our 2nd child Donovan's birthday. He was born exactly one year later on the day that she passed away, he was

2 1/2 weeks early. He was the reason we made it through such a difficult time. I believe there is a reason he was suppose to come to us on that day.

It has been a very emotional and draining couple of days, but I look forward to spending the rest of the week celebrating Christmas with our kids, and Donovan's birthday.

JUST SAY CHEESE!

So we took the kids to get their pictures taken today, it was Bella's first time in the studio. I have to say she was more cooperative than Donovan was. When she smiled you got to see her huge dimples and double chin. When Donovan smiled you got to see squinty eyes and teeth! He is such a cheeser, lately all he does is give goofy smiles. I guess that's why it kinda makes the pictures perfect for him. We will be going back later this month to get his birthday pictures. There was NO WAY that they were both going to do an outfit change!
